Importing Image Meta Data

The WP Import Export Plugin makes it easy to import image metadata directly from your files to WordPress. you can bring in essential metadata fields like Title, Caption, Alt Text, and Description—as shown in the image below.

Image meta data can be imported in the Media SEO & Advanced Options sub-section of the Images section in WP Import Export plugin.

Each metadata field is matched to images in sequential order, ensuring seamless association:

  • The first caption is linked to the first image,
  • The second caption to the second image,
  • And so on.
